This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Cultivate, enhance, and solidify partnerships with key public-sector end users and pertinent ecosystem stakeholders.
• Discover collaboration opportunities aligned with customer strategies, operations, and sustainability objectives.
• Propel order intake, sales, and profitability through the promotion of professional lighting products, connected systems, solar lighting, and circular lighting solutions.
• Oversee tenders, bids, and framework agreements in collaboration with legal, commercial, and proposal teams.
• Work together with engineering consultants, contractors, and technology partners to develop smart city and sports lighting solutions.
• Develop strategic account plans, relationship objectives, growth prospects, and solution roadmaps.
• Coordinate efforts with Marketing, Lighting Application, Systems & Services, Supply Chain, Finance, and project execution teams.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines and forecasts within CRM systems.
• Monitor project advancement, revenue realization, post-sales satisfaction, and Customer NPS.
• Evaluate technology, design, and customer trends to pinpoint opportunities and potential risks.
• Offer market insights to shape product and segment strategies.
• Expand knowledge of smart city technologies, energy models, sports facility lighting standards, and city beautification initiatives.
• Engage in customer and industry events.
• Stay informed about Signify solutions, connected systems, and market trends.
• Ensure adherence to Signify’s Integrity Code and government-account policies.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a comparable Key Account Management role in the public sector.
• Proven success in managing tenders, bids, and strategic account plans.
• Essential experience in public-sector sales.
• Required experience in the lighting industry.
• Experience working alongside local authorities and contractors in public outdoor lighting is necessary.
• Familiarity with solution selling and connected systems would be beneficial.
• A strong motivation to secure new business and a desire to learn about the industry.
• Exceptional relationship-building abilities, particularly with authorities based in Scotland.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new sales tactics and product offerings.
• Openness to adjust to evolving market demands and opportunities.
• Outstanding communication skills in English.
• Ideally located in Scotland.
• Willingness to travel throughout the designated area, including remote locations in Scotland.
