This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with key end-users and the associated ecosystem in the Public sector.
β’ Propel sales growth and promote the adoption of innovation through Signify's lighting solutions, connected systems, and services.
β’ Target public-sector outdoor lighting clients.
β’ Cultivate and enhance partnerships with municipal authorities, government bodies, sports venue managers, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
β’ Recognize collaboration possibilities based on customer strategies, operations, and sustainability objectives.
β’ Meet order intake, sales, and profitability goals.
β’ Advocate for connected lighting, solar, and circular lighting systems.
β’ Oversee tenders, bids, and framework agreements with legal, commercial, and proposal teams.
β’ Work alongside engineering consultants, contractors, and technology partners on smart city and sports lighting solutions.
β’ Develop strategic account plans and solution roadmaps.
β’ Coordinate efforts with Marketing, Lighting Application, Systems & Services, Supply Chain, Finance, and Project Execution teams.
β’ Maintain opportunity pipelines and forecasts within CRM systems.
β’ Monitor project progress, revenue realization, post-sales satisfaction, and Customer NPS.
β’ Analyze technology, design, and customer trends to uncover opportunities and risks.
β’ Provide market insights to shape product and segment strategies.
β’ Engage in customer and industry events, learning programs, and sales capability initiatives.
β’ Ensure adherence to Signify's Integrity Code, compliance policies, and government-account procedures.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is essential.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in a similar Key Account Management role within the public sector.
β’ Proven track record in managing tenders, bids, and strategic account plans.
β’ Experience in public-sector sales.
β’ Background in the lighting sector.
β’ Experience collaborating with local authorities and contractors in public outdoor lighting.
β’ Knowledge of solution selling and connected systems is valued.
β’ A strong drive to acquire new business and a keen interest in the industry.
β’ Excellent skills in building relationships, particularly with authorities based in Scotland.
β’ A willingness to learn and adapt to new sales strategies and product offerings.
β’ Flexibility to respond to new market demands and opportunities.
β’ Strong communication skills in English.
β’ Ideally based in Scotland.
β’ Willingness to travel across the assigned area, including remote locations in Scotland.
