
Key Account Manager – Metal Working Fluids

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee the implementation of the Metalworking Fluids commercial strategy across designated global accounts and regions.
• Achieve targets for revenue, volume, and profit margins.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with formulators, blenders, OEMs, and major industrial manufacturers.
• Discover and cultivate new business opportunities through account expansion, application development, value-selling initiatives, and market penetration strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Service, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Facilitate commercial and technical discussions regarding corrosion protection, lubricity, tool longevity, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
• Manage pipeline activities, ensure forecasting accuracy, execute pricing strategies, and maintain CRM excellence.
• Track market trends, customer dynamics, competitive activities, and regulatory changes.
• Influence and collaborate within a matrix organization while supporting internal stakeholders and regional commercial teams.
• Over 8 years of extensive commercial experience in metalworking fluids, industrial lubricants, specialty chemicals, metal processing, or related industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing strategic accounts, leading complex negotiations, and achieving profitable growth.
• In-depth knowledge of metalworking operations, machining processes, metal forming applications, OEM requirements, and manufacturing environments.
• Capability to convert technical concepts into persuasive customer value propositions and commercial results.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and strategic account planning abilities.
• Proficient in using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30-50%).
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
