This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee territories encompassing North, Central, and South Florida.
• Manage a portfolio that includes generic injectables and specific brands across North America operations.
• Analyze sales data for a portfolio consisting of more than 180 injectable NDCs.
• Handle customer positioning and pricing in relation to GPOs, alternate contracts, back-up contracts, and IDNs.
• Drive adherence to GPO awards and strategically position back-up contracts to promote the Viatris product portfolio.
• Track competitive awards, market status, and contracts to enhance sales positioning, pull-through, and RFP processes.
• Monitor and report on market supply conditions and shortages using public resources such as ASHP and FDA Drug Shortages.
• Assist customers with drop shipments and relay shortages to the supply chain for forecasting and demand planning.
• Collaborate with national wholesalers and forward distribution centers to ensure proper hospital inventory levels.
• Ensure accurate pricing is entered and validate customer contract eligibility for the accounting team.
• Work in conjunction with sales, leadership, and pricing teams across various business units.
• Participate in conferences and advisory boards while engaging in weekly Friday sales calls.
• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships, promoting contract compliance and the use of Viatris products.
• Manage customer call cycles and conduct account reviews that encompass products, contracts, purchasing history, and product details.
• Maintain customer account profiles, client tracking information, and contract records.
• Analyze sales and territory data, reporting findings to the District Sales Manager.
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing, communicating relevant information to the District Sales Manager or corporate personnel.
• Complete required documentation and laptop duties, including expense reports, supply requests, and account profiles.
• Manage corporate resources responsibly, including travel, vehicle, and entertainment expenses.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• A four-year college degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or medical sales is required.
• Experience in institutional or hospital sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or medical sales processes and procedures is essential.
• Knowledge of human physiology and biology is necessary.
• Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical/medical distribution process is required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% by vehicle and airplane is essential.
• Capability to lift and carry personal items, a laptop, and miscellaneous items weighing at least 30 pounds.
• Proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing in English is required.
