This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans for key centers and regional networks that are in line with national commercial goals.
• Establish reliable partnerships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), specialized centers, academic hospitals, and multidisciplinary care teams within the designated region.
• Conduct high-quality scientific and product discussions that facilitate appropriate patient care.
• Recognize customer needs and align Mirum's resources and solutions to enhance appropriate patient care.
• Continuously evaluate regional account opportunities by leveraging customer insights, market intelligence, and business data.
• Assist in account-readiness initiatives by pinpointing gaps in awareness, diagnostic pathways, and referral processes within priority accounts and regional networks.
• Share compliant field insights to aid in market development, account readiness, and future launch strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant disease states, treatment landscapes, and Mirum’s products.
• Take accountability for territory performance while consistently adhering to company policies and applicable regulations.
• Positively contribute to a collaborative Mirum culture by sharing best practices and promoting team success.
• A Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in field-based commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• A proven history of achieving results in specialty care or rare disease markets.
• Demonstrated success in supporting product launches, growth, or market development activities within complex healthcare settings.
• Experience in liver disease, rare disease, gastrointestinal (GI), hepatology, or related specialty areas is preferred.
• Understanding of strategic account management, regional healthcare frameworks, and the German healthcare landscape.
• A strong commitment to compliance, ethical business practices, and appropriate scientific exchange.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips.
• Proficiency in both German and English, with the capacity to read, understand, and communicate scientific and business information in English.
• A patient-centric attitude and dedication to enhancing outcomes for individuals living with rare diseases.
• Strong strategic account thinking, prioritization, and follow-through capabilities.
