This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create and implement strategic account plans for key centers and regional networks that align with national commercial goals.
• Establish trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), specialist centers, academic hospitals, and multidisciplinary care teams within the designated region.
• Provide high-quality scientific and product discussions that enhance appropriate patient care.
• Recognize customer needs and coordinate Mirum resources and solutions to facilitate proper patient care.
• Continuously evaluate regional account opportunities by leveraging customer insights, market intelligence, and business analytics.
• Assist with account-readiness initiatives by pinpointing awareness, diagnostic pathway, and referral-process shortcomings within priority accounts and regional networks.
• Convey compliant field insights to aid market development, account readiness, and future launch strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant disease states, treatment landscapes, and Mirum’s offerings.
• Show accountability for territory performance while consistently adhering to company policies and relevant regulations.
• Positively contribute to a collaborative Mirum culture by sharing best practices and supporting team achievements.
• A Bachelor's degree in science or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• A proven history of delivering results in specialty care or rare disease markets.
• Demonstrated success in supporting product launches, growth, or market development activities in complex healthcare settings.
• Experience in liver disease, rare disease, gastroenterology, hepatology, or related specialty areas is preferred.
• Understanding of strategic account management, regional healthcare frameworks, and the German healthcare system.
• A commitment to compliance, ethical business practices, and appropriate scientific exchange.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Fluency in both German and English, with the capacity to read, comprehend, and communicate scientific and business information in English.
• A patient-centric mindset with a dedication to improving outcomes for individuals living with rare diseases.
• Strong skills in strategic account thinking, prioritization, and follow-through.
