This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans for key centers and regional networks that align with national commercial goals.
• Establish trustworthy partnerships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), specialized centers, academic hospitals, and multidisciplinary care teams within the designated region.
• Facilitate high-level scientific and product discussions that enhance appropriate patient care.
• Recognize customer needs and coordinate Mirum resources and solutions to promote suitable patient care.
• Continuously evaluate regional account opportunities through customer insights, market intelligence, and business data.
• Assist in account-readiness initiatives by pinpointing awareness, diagnostic pathway, and referral-process deficiencies within priority accounts and regional networks.
• Share compliant field insights to aid in market development, account readiness, and future launch strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant disease states, treatment landscapes, and Mirum’s product offerings.
• Exhibit accountability for territory performance while consistently adhering to company policies and applicable regulations.
• Positively contribute to a collaborative culture at Mirum by sharing best practices and fostering team success.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in field-based commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Demonstrated success in achieving results in specialty care or rare disease markets.
• Proven experience supporting product launches, growth, or market development initiatives in complex healthcare settings.
• Experience in liver disease, rare diseases, gastrointestinal (GI), hepatology, or related specialty fields is preferred.
• Understanding of strategic account management, regional healthcare structures, and the German healthcare landscape.
• Strong commitment to compliance, ethical business practices, and appropriate scientific exchange.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips.
• Proficiency in both German and English, with the capability to read, comprehend, and communicate scientific and business information in English.
• Patient-centric mindset and dedication to enhancing outcomes for individuals living with rare diseases.
• Strong strategic account management skills, including prioritization and follow-through capabilities.
