This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Establish trust, pinpoint sales and conversion opportunities, negotiate agreements, and oversee category management with designated key retail partners and regional distributors.
• Engage with independent retail locations to manage current accounts, expand distribution, implement the Juul Partner Program (JPP), and enhance Presence, Pricing, Promotion, and Product.
• Supervise customer interactions and cultivate reliable business relationships with chain accounts, national retail partners, and regional distributors at both HQ and regional levels.
• Create chain-specific sales, distribution, and merchandising strategies that optimize ROI within designated budgets.
• Utilize syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) to deliver category insights and actionable recommendations.
• Lead and coordinate buyer meetings, category evaluations, Top-to-Top sessions, contracted space management, and inventory resolution.
• Collaborate with field sales, trade marketing, and internal department leaders on retail programming.
• Maintain transparent communication with internal stakeholders and external customer partners.
• Monitor sales performance and progress against objectives to refine sales strategies and processes.
• Travel regularly, averaging 30–40%, including overnight HQ planning sessions, quarterly business reviews, store visits, and internal meetings.
• Execute related tasks as assigned within the scope of practice.
• Over 5 years of account management experience in CPG or tobacco/OTP categories, with a background in managing accounts at the HQ level and/or direct field sales experience.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating key account contracts, expanding presence in existing accounts, and leading strategic sales initiatives to achieve sales targets.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in syndicated data tools (IRI, Nielsen) and CRM/reporting software (Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across executive, cross-functional, and field team environments.
• Highly self-driven, adaptable, and results-oriented with robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Clear understanding of the JUUL customer and the vapor/OTP industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent relevant work experience).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must hold and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for a minimum of the last three (3) consecutive years.
• Reliable vehicle for daily work purposes.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to visually inspect and handle merchandise and advertising displays.
• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb/work from heights (9–12 feet) during in-store setups or merchandising tasks.
