
Key Account Manager β Early Intervention

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.
β’ Implement the Early Intervention strategy and manage relationship building within the specified geographic market.
β’ Oversee important healthcare accounts, such as hospitals, clinics, GPOs, IDNs, and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
β’ Create and execute customized sales strategies in collaboration with the FSO.
β’ Identify new business prospects and provide insights to relevant stakeholders.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for administrative staff at key accounts.
β’ Track industry developments, competitor actions, and customer requirements.
β’ Oversee account performance, ensure contract adherence, and conduct customer business reviews.
β’ Engage in or lead negotiations related to contracts and pricing.
β’ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and corporate policies.
β’ Work together with FSO, Marketing, Market Access & Pricing, and other departments.
β’ Foster customer loyalty and guarantee the success of long-term partnerships.
β’ Coordinate and influence strategic planning in collaboration with Early Intervention leadership and internal J&J business partners.
β’ Report directly to the Area Sales Director.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree is required.
β’ At least 6 years of relevant experience, ideally in Pharmaceutical sales or Key Account Management.
β’ Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare market, including industry trends, customer behavior, and legal compliance requirements.
β’ Proven experience in successful customer negotiations where business objectives were met or surpassed.
β’ Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities in intricate negotiations.
β’ Experience in crafting strategic contracting proposals and successfully executing customer negotiations.
β’ Financial knowledge, including gross profit, erosion, pricing impact, and inventory management.
β’ Experience in a highly matrixed environment with the ability to influence multiple stakeholder groups with an enterprise-wide perspective.
β’ Ability to process various complex and often conflicting inputs to develop a workable contract strategy.
β’ Strong analytical abilities.
β’ Highly effective communication skills.
β’ Demonstrated capability to manage through constructive conflict.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
β’ Must reside within the designated geographic area.
