This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
β’ Create and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at expanding the AC Integrated Solutions business by capturing a larger portion of Behind-the-Meter opportunities.
β’ Identify and evaluate new opportunities through market analysis and collaboration with other GE Vernova business units and/or PCO.
β’ Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including developers, EPCs, utilities, and strategic partners.
β’ Oversee the entire business development and sales opportunity lifecycle, encompassing prospecting, solution development, proposal preparation, negotiations, and contract execution.
β’ Work in conjunction with PCO, various business units, Consulting Services, GSI engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Legal, and project delivery teams to create competitive customer solutions.
β’ Keep track of BTM project development, AI/Data Center markets, utilities, regulatory policies, energy trends, and power developments.
β’ Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer meetings, and trade shows.
β’ Maintain precise sales forecasts and pipeline reporting through Salesforce CRM.
β’ Meet or surpass annual orders, margin, and customer acquisition goals.
β’ Lead and refine customer and segment growth strategies as well as account planning.
β’ Activate commercial and technical support teams to implement the sales strategy.
β’ Manage strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers to support sales account strategies.
β’ Propel growth initiatives and new product launches within designated accounts.
β’ Conduct operating plan and account reviews in collaboration with regional leadership.
β’ Position ACIS as a comprehensive integrator for end-to-end solutions, including system design, HV/MV substations, energy management systems, and stability solutions.
β’ Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Arts degree.
β’ A minimum of 6 years of direct sales, account management, or team leadership experience.
β’ At least 4 years of experience in the electrical, utility, or energy sector.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
β’ Professional and technical expertise in the Energy Industry, Automation, and Power Equipment products & services (Transmission / Distribution or Power Generation).
β’ Understanding of economic and incentive factors influencing executive-level procurement decisions in the energy market.
β’ Strong situational awareness and ability to build relationships at an executive level within customer organizations.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for management, engineering, and operations audiences.
β’ Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
β’ An MBA is considered a desirable qualification.
