This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Formulate and implement a strategic sales approach aimed at expanding the AC Integrated Solutions division by increasing the share of Behind-the-Meter opportunities.
• Discover and assess new prospects through market analysis in coordination with GEV business units and PCO.
• Establish and nurture relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities, and key strategic partners.
• Oversee the entire business development and sales opportunity process from prospecting to solution crafting, proposal creation, negotiations, and contract finalization.
• Collaborate with PCO, business units, Consulting Services, engineering, Sourcing, Finance, legal, and project delivery teams.
• Keep track of BTM project advancements, AI/data center markets, utility trends, regulatory policies, energy developments, and power industry changes.
• Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and trade exhibitions.
• Ensure precise sales forecasts and pipeline updates using Salesforce CRM.
• Meet or surpass yearly orders, margin, and customer acquisition objectives.
• Direct customer and segment growth strategies along with account management planning.
• Activate commercial and technical support teams to implement sales strategies.
• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
• Propel growth initiatives and introduce new products within assigned accounts.
• Conduct operational planning and account reviews with regional leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a BA.
• At least 6 years of experience in direct sales, account management, or team leadership roles.
• Minimum of 4 years in the electrical, utility, or energy sectors.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Demonstrated professional and technical knowledge of the Energy Industry, Automation, and Power Equipment products and services.
• Understanding of economic and incentive factors influencing executive-level procurement decisions in the energy market.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening process, if applicable.
• An MBA is preferred.
