
Key Account Manager – Concrete Admixtures

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop and implement national account strategies aimed at driving sales growth, enhancing customer partnerships, and increasing MAPEI’s market share in concrete admixtures.
• Establish and nurture relationships with senior executives, purchasing decision-makers, technical stakeholders, consultants, and other key influencers within major accounts.
• Evaluate national market potential, competitive landscape, customer requirements, and industry trends; create market analyses, sales predictions, and recommendations to aid in commercial strategy and budgeting.
• Collaborate with regional sales, technical, R&D, marketing, operations, quality, and customer service teams to craft pricing, supply agreements, product positioning, project specifications, and tailored customer solutions.
• Assist with key projects from initial concept and design to tender and award, including efforts to incorporate MAPEI admixture products into project specifications.
• Organize and deliver product presentations, technical training sessions, customer visits, and key-account events while showcasing MAPEI’s technical expertise, brand, and corporate vision.
• Track account performance, forecast product demand, address significant customer issues or warranty concerns, and identify opportunities to enhance internal sales, service, and delivery processes.
• Represent MAPEI at national technical associations and industry events to foster relationships and promote the Company’s leadership in concrete technology.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and guidelines outlined in our Quality Management System (QMS), Employee Handbook, Health and Safety manual, or any other directives issued by the company.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of five years of successful sales or key-account management experience related to commercial construction products; experience with concrete admixtures or a closely related industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of the concrete industry, including concrete producers, construction projects, product specifications, market dynamics, and relevant industry standards.
• Proven capability to develop national or strategic accounts, cultivate senior-level customer relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and achieve sales objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of the assigned market/industry.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work independently.
• Proficient in using Windows-based PCs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and navigating the Internet.
• Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, which is a variable percentage of your base salary based on individual performance and Company results.
