This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and implement a territory business plan that aligns with the DEFINITY® Marketing and Sales strategy.
• Enhance sales effectiveness and achieve sales targets.
• Identify customer requirements, utilize marketing resources, address objections, secure agreements, and progress through the sales process.
• Establish and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders, including sonographers, medical directors, technical directors, pharmacy directors, and purchasing directors.
• Sustain and utilize clinical, competitive, and market knowledge in selling scenarios.
• Articulate the economic benefits of LMI products to financial stakeholders within local and regional healthcare systems.
• Offer reimbursement assistance and manage local contracting as necessary.
• Deliver echo contrast education to cardiology fellowship programs and cardiac ultrasound schools.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Management, and external support to address business challenges and propose customer-centric solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives involving marketing resources, training materials, sales strategies, and sales analytics tools.
• Attend and actively engage in sales meetings, conference/video calls, and training sessions.
• Exemplify Lantheus values while upholding a compliant, principled, and ethical culture.
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least 5+ years of proven successful sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or related industries.
• Proficient in computer software applications and video conferencing tools, including MS Office and CRM.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to present clinical information in a compelling and persuasive manner.
• Capability to identify issues, formulate effective strategies, and rapidly implement solutions.
• Preferred experience in hospital sales.
• Established track record of successful cardiovascular sales and/or clinical cardiology experience.
• Current network of contacts within local healthcare organizations.
• Must reside within the designated territory, specifically in the Sacramento or San Jose area.
• Valid driver's license, suitable vehicle, and necessary motor vehicle insurance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentialing for access to medical facilities, including required flu shots and other necessary vaccinations.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
• Capability to meet territory call metrics and other requirements for the territory.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed for business, including in-person customer engagements, industry events, and mandatory in-person training.
• Availability for recurring weekend or evening work as required.
