This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Serve as both an advocate for partners within Virtuos and a representative of Virtuos to key partners.
• Keep up-to-date with industry knowledge regarding key partners’ previous, current, and upcoming titles, while proactively recommending ways to enhance efficiency, content, or reach.
• Ensure consistent, timely, and comprehensive communication with partners to nurture strong business relationships and identify anticipated production requirements.
• Collaborate with partners and coordinate with internal Virtuos teams to address production needs.
• Support Virtuos teams in overseeing project development and planning activities.
• Work alongside Producers and Art Directors to fulfill partner and studio requests.
• Establish and manage partner expectations.
• Share project plans with partners and relay feedback to Virtuos teams.
• Coordinate calls and meetings between partners and Virtuos teams located in China, Vietnam, Ireland, and France.
• Oversee and track contracts, agreements, and invoices.
• Manage partner feedback throughout and post-project as part of Virtuos's internal enhancement processes.
• Sustain and enhance trusted, long-term relationships with key partners.
• Travel for partner visits and occasional trips to Virtuos’s global studios.
• Support the Key Account Director in business development initiatives and strategies across North America.
• Identify new opportunities within key accounts, collect data, and prepare reports.
• Manage Salesforce and account tracking systems.
• Represent Virtuos at significant industry events.
• Facilitate the onboarding of partner projects and oversee the due diligence process.
• Potentially mentor and develop others through expanded responsibilities in people management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 4 years of relevant business development experience in a similar industry.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both direct and external partners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of successful development strategies.
• Goal-oriented and focused.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Bilingual fluency (French and other languages are a plus).
• Willingness to travel for work purposes.
