This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Achieve specified sales, profitability, and growth objectives for promoted brands through a targeted key account strategy.
• Recognize and cultivate new business opportunities that align with strategic goals.
• Promote product adoption and market expansion through engaging customer interactions and value-driven discussions.
• Track territory performance and execute corrective measures as needed.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with NHS clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement account plans that align with local healthcare priorities.
• Utilize customer insights, prescribing data, and market intelligence to guide account strategies.
• Provide omni-channel engagement across both primary and specialist care sectors.
• Foster relationships with healthcare professionals, formulary decision-makers, commissioners, and key opinion leaders.
• Assist in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, service delivery, and treatment pathways.
• Evaluate market trends, policy shifts, healthcare developments, competitor actions, and customer needs.
• Produce actionable insights and enhance customer engagement approaches.
• Collaborate with the Sales Lead, Medical, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence teams.
• Share customer insights and market intelligence to further business goals.
• Ensure that customer interactions and business activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and NHS regulations.
• Keep precise documentation and reporting of customer interactions and business performance.
• Preferred degree-level education in Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare, or a similar field.
• ABPI Qualification is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven success in specialist pharmaceutical sales.
• Experience in Secondary Care and NHS settings.
• Established track record in Key Account Management within healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
• Expertise in building strategic customer relationships and achieving commercial goals.
• Strong pharmaceutical sales, negotiation, and influence skills.
• Experience in key account planning, implementation, and performance assessment.
• Comprehensive understanding of the NHS, hospital sector, and healthcare decision-making frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Infectious Diseases therapy area and relevant stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Capacity to lead, manage, and effectively implement change.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and customer insights.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align local account activities with broader business objectives.
