This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales performance for a new kidney transplant product in the U.S. and meet or surpass sales targets.
• Develop strategic account plans, recognize key opportunities and stakeholders, and promote product use among suitable patients.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare providers, hospital and transplant personnel, and patient-care stakeholders.
• Navigate the complexities of hospitals, academic centers, and transplant environments to connect with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training protocols, ensuring compliance when necessary.
• Respond to customer requirements, recognize market dynamics and trends, and formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate objectives.
• Explore decisions by account targets that influence product access and devise strategies for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams on territory and national market strategies and issues.
• Optimize territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Plan and carry out local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker events, and other compliant activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience in launching new products within inpatient or institutional settings.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive-level customers.
• Previous experience interacting with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers or institutions.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must satisfy credentialing criteria for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned area.
• Credentialing may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with up to 50% overnight travel.
