This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve sales targets by implementing strategic account plans that identify key opportunities and stakeholders, enhancing product utilization to meet or surpass sales goals.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant staff, along with others involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic center, and transplant settings to connect with essential stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Respond to customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training protocols, directing questions to the appropriate partners as necessary.
• Assess customer requirements, recognize market dynamics and trends, and formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate objectives.
• Analyze account-target decisions impacting product access and create plans for hospital formulary placement and EMR integration.
• Cultivate and sustain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific aspects.
• Engage and collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade partners.
• Optimize territory budget for strategy execution and expand territory business.
• Organize and implement local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other company-sanctioned activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Lay the groundwork for sales of a new kidney transplant product and assist in achieving U.S. sales strategy and launch revenue goals.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent years of professional experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in key account sales within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare disease, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level customers.
• Previous experience working with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers/institutions.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must satisfy credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations in the assigned region, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with no more than 50% overnight travel.
