This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales performance by implementing strategic account plans, pinpointing key opportunities and stakeholders, and promoting product usage to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic center, and transplant settings to access stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training guidelines, ensuring compliant triaging of questions when necessary.
• Recognize customer requirements, analyze market dynamics and trends, and formulate local strategies that support brand and corporate goals.
• Examine account target decisions that impact product accessibility and devise plans for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Acquire and sustain knowledge of the disease state and clinical/scientific aspects.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams on both territory-specific and national market strategies and challenges.
• Optimize territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Organize and carry out local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other company-sanctioned activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Establish the foundational sales groundwork for the launch of a new kidney transplant product.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience interacting with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive-level customers.
• Previous experience engaging with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers/institutions.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory MVR record.
• Must comply with credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned territory, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expectation of 80+% of time spent in the field with ≤ 50% overnight travel.
