This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales outcomes by implementing strategic account plans, pinpointing essential opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product utilization to meet or surpass sales goals.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare providers, hospital and transplant personnel, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate the complexities of hospital, academic, and transplant environments to access key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training protocols, ensuring compliant triage of questions when necessary.
• Respond to customer needs, recognize market dynamics and trends, formulate local strategies, and support brand and corporate objectives.
• Analyze account target decisions that impact product accessibility and devise plans for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of disease states and clinical/scientific knowledge.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams on strategies and issues affecting both territory and national markets.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Organize and execute local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker events, and other company initiatives.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Establish the foundational sales groundwork for a new kidney-transplant product launch, reporting to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare disease, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and highly influential executive-level clients.
• Previous experience working with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must fulfill credentialing criteria for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations in the designated area, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with up to 50% overnight travel.
