This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel U.S. sales performance by implementing strategic account plans and ensuring product use among suitable patients.
• Recognize key opportunities and stakeholders to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and stakeholders in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic center, and transplant environments to engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a compliant manner and direct questions to the appropriate partners.
• Assess customer needs, market trends, and dynamics; formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Explore account-target decisions impacting product availability and create plans for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Acquire and maintain expertise in disease states and clinical/scientific knowledge.
• Collaborate effectively with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams.
• Oversee the budget for the territory and enhance business within the assigned area.
• Organize and implement local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other approved company activities.
• Represent Hansa Biopharma at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred or equivalent work experience is acceptable.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level customers.
• Prior experience working with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned area, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to devote 80% or more of working hours in the field, with no more than 50% of travel being overnight.
