This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel U.S. sales performance through strategic account planning and the identification of key opportunities and stakeholders.
• Enhance product utilization among suitable patients to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and patient-care stakeholders.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant environments to engage key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in a compliant manner and direct questions to the appropriate partners.
• Respond to customer needs while assessing market dynamics and trends.
• Create local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Examine account-target decisions that impact product accessibility.
• Formulate plans to facilitate patient access, including inclusion in hospital formularies and electronic medical records.
• Maintain knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific developments.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams.
• Optimize the territory budget and expand business within the territory.
• Plan, organize, and implement local and regional exhibits and promotional speaker events.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking occasions.
• Lay the groundwork for sales of a new kidney-transplant product launch.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred or equivalent years of professional experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience collaborating with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive-level customers.
• Previous experience engaging with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the designated area.
• Credentialing may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.

• Capable of responding to customer inquiries consistently in line with product indications and sales training methodologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of disease states and clinical/scientific knowledge.
• Proficient in navigating complex hospital, academic, and transplant settings.
