This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales results in the U.S. through strategic account planning, pinpointing key opportunities and stakeholders, and promoting product utilization among suitable patients.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant staff, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant environments to connect with essential stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in line with product indications and sales training methodologies, ensuring compliant routing to suitable partners.
• Respond to customer needs, recognize market dynamics and trends, and formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Analyze account-target decisions that influence product access and create plans for hospital formulary placement and EMR inclusion.
• Develop and uphold extensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams on regional and national market strategies and challenges.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Plan, organize, and carry out local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other policy-compliant initiatives.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking occasions.
• Lay the groundwork for sales in the launch of a new kidney-transplant product.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• At least 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive customers.
• Previous experience liaising with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory MVR record.
• Must meet credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations in the designated area, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
