This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel U.S. sales performance by creating strategic account plans and pinpointing key opportunities and stakeholders.
• Enhance product utilization among suitable patients to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and patient-care stakeholders.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic-center, and transplant settings to engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Consistently address customer inquiries in line with product indications and sales training methodologies, compliantly directing inquiries when necessary.
• Respond to customer needs, recognize market dynamics and trends, and formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate objectives.
• Examine account-target decisions that influence product access and devise strategies for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Build and uphold knowledge related to disease states and clinical/scientific aspects.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams to develop territory and national-market strategies.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Plan and orchestrate local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for the initial sales of a new kidney-transplant product launch.
• Report to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience in launching new products in inpatient/institutional settings.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level customers.
• Previous experience working with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers/institutions.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR record.
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned geography, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with ≤ 50% overnight travel.
