This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel U.S. sales outcomes through strategic account planning, pinpointing opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product utilization among suitable patients.
• Cultivate and sustain professional connections with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, as well as patient-care stakeholders.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant settings to engage key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training methodologies, directing questions to the appropriate partners.
• Respond to customer requirements, recognize market dynamics and trends, and devise local tactics that support brand and corporate goals.
• Evaluate account-target decisions that impact product access and formulate strategies for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams on both territory and national market strategies and challenges.
• Oversee the Key Account Management territory budget to implement strategies and expand business within the territory.
• Organize and implement local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker events, and other policy-compliant activities.
• Represent Hansa Biopharma at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Establish the foundational sales approach for a new kidney-transplant product.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience launching new products in inpatient/institutional settings.
• Direct experience collaborating with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level customers.
• Previous experience engaging with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must fulfill all credentialing requirements to access academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the designated geography.
• May be required to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and provide proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Anticipated 80+% of time spent in the field with ≤ 50% overnight travel required.
• Capability to submit a CV in English only.
• Proficiency in addressing customer inquiries in compliance with product indications and sales training methodologies.
• Expertise in expanding sales in new territories and crafting as well as executing sales strategies.
