This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Propel sales outcomes through the formulation of strategic account plans and the identification of key opportunities and stakeholders.
• Enhance product utilization among appropriate patients to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and stakeholders involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic-center, and transplant landscapes to connect with decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in a compliant manner and direct questions to the suitable partners.
• Respond to customer requirements while recognizing market dynamics and trends.
• Formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Examine account-target decisions that influence product accessibility.
• Create initiatives to support patient access, including hospital formulary adoption and EMR integration.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific developments.
• Collaborate effectively with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams.
• Oversee the territory budget and expand business within the designated territory.
• Plan and implement local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and associated activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for initial sales for a new kidney-transplant product launch.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor's degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 7 years in key account sales within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare disease, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-level executive customers.
• Previous experience interacting with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers/institutions.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must fulfill credentialing prerequisites for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned territory, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with no more than 50% overnight travel.
