This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding Braeburn’s products and associated access resources.
• Present clinical product details and access information in accordance with company policies.
• Achieve sales targets for the designated geographic area.
• Guide customers on product acquisition, payer policies, and reimbursement details.
• Analyze and interpret reports, facts, and data to strategize and implement territory activities.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the territory, care delivery systems, major payers, regulatory frameworks, industry trends, competition, and reimbursement practices.
• Convey disease-state and product information in compliance with FDA-approved labeling and the REMS program.
• Engage with account personnel to identify needs, communicate sanctioned solutions, address concerns, and conduct post-call evaluations.
• Update physicians and office staff on product access information utilizing approved materials.
• Manage and support accounts to ensure product accessibility and resolve or escalate reimbursement issues as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Sustain ongoing communication with customers and adapt to changing market challenges and opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and the Code of Conduct.
• Exercise fiscal responsibility regarding operational expenses.
• A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is required; an advanced business degree is a plus.
• Over 7 years of pharmaceutical experience, including a minimum of 3 years in sales and/or field market access within the biotech/specialty pharmaceutical/device sectors.
• Demonstrated sales or field market access success in Specialty Pharmacy markets.
• Comprehensive knowledge of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
• Proven experience in launching products in a highly intricate and competitive landscape.
• Background in selling specialty products, particularly those involving physician-administered implantable or injectable medication technologies within a healthcare context.
• Capability to work independently in identifying new business opportunities.
• A valid driver's license in good standing is required.
• Willingness to travel both regionally and nationally; certain territories may necessitate overnight travel of up to 50–70%.
• Experience in a start-up environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with a complex distribution model including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
• Knowledge of coding, billing, submissions, payer environments, reimbursement, FDA-approved labeling, and the REMS program.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with and educate healthcare professionals.
• Skills in problem-solving, account management, business planning, sound judgment, teamwork, decision-making, integrity, adaptability, and accountability.
