This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement annual and multi-year strategies for account growth that align with Salomon's business goals.
• Create long-term growth plans.
• Oversee Joint Business Planning processes and set measurable growth initiatives in collaboration with key account stakeholders.
• Manage monthly and quarterly shipments while communicating requirements and updates to stakeholders.
• Discover opportunities for demand generation, broader distribution, and increased market share.
• Take ownership of account revenue, margin, forecasting, and profitability targets.
• Supervise account performance against seasonal strategies and growth objectives.
• Analyze sales trends, inventory efficiency, replenishment opportunities, and open-to-buy dynamics.
• Suggest corrective measures to enhance performance and reduce risks.
• Direct seasonal assortment planning and product presentations.
• Collaborate with Nordstrom and other key account merchants to create consumer-focused assortments.
• Align product strategy, inventory plans, and business goals.
• Influence product placement, presentation, and investment decisions.
• Coordinate efforts with Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Ensure the successful execution of product launches, promotions, and seasonal transitions.
• Address operational challenges and support customer satisfaction.
• Oversee forecasting and order management throughout the sales process.
• Build relationships across merchant, planning, digital, marketing, and executive leadership teams.
• Conduct regular business performance reviews and discussions.
• Act as a trusted strategic partner representing Salomon.
• Internally advocate for customer opportunities and priorities.
• Keep track of retail trends, competitive activities, and consumer demand signals.
• Offer recommendations to enhance category performance and stimulate growth.
• Utilize data and insights to influence customer choices and support business planning.
• Provide competitive intelligence and consumer insights for internal strategic planning.
• Identify emerging opportunities to bolster Salomon's brand presence and commercial success.
• 5–8+ years of experience in wholesale sales, key account, or national account management.
• Background in Sales, Merchandising, or Planning while managing strategic retail partners in the Premium Lifestyle sector.
• Familiarity with retail partners such as Nordstrom, Free People, Urban Outfitters, or Journeys.
• Experience in managing high-volume Men’s, Women’s, Unisex, and Kids business lines.
• Strong grasp of premium wholesale and omnichannel retail environments.
• Proven skills in business planning, forecasting, and financial management.
• Advanced analytical and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to balance brand and business needs between internal stakeholders and senior customer decision-makers.
• Capacity to talk and hear; frequently sit, stand, and walk.
• Ability to occasionally kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, and lift up to 30 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
