This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement annual and long-term account growth strategies that are in line with Salomon's business goals.
• Create multi-year growth plans and spearhead Joint Business Planning initiatives with key account partners.
• Manage monthly and quarterly shipments while communicating requirements and updates to relevant organizational stakeholders.
• Recognize opportunities for demand generation, broader distribution, and enhanced market share.
• Take ownership of revenue, margin, forecasting, and inventory efficiency for assigned accounts.
• Oversee performance relative to budget and growth objectives; assess trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Formulate action plans aimed at boosting account productivity and profitability.
• Direct seasonal assortment planning and sell-in presentations.
• Collaborate with merchants and planners to optimize product selection and inventory allocations.
• Promote new category placements, broaden distribution, and heighten visibility.
• Ensure coordinated execution across Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Product, and Finance teams.
• Assist in product launches, significant campaigns, and retail activations.
• Foster operational excellence, resolve issues, and ensure account preparedness throughout seasonal business cycles.
• Cultivate relationships with merchants, planners, inventory managers, marketing teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Conduct business reviews and strategic planning meetings.
• Influence customer choices through data analysis, insights, and category expertise.
• Monitor performance patterns in athletic, footwear, and performance sectors.
• Provide insights on competitive landscape and consumer behavior.
• Identify new opportunities to enhance Salomon's brand visibility and commercial success.
• 5-8+ years of experience in wholesale sales, national account management, or key account leadership.
• Background in Sales, Merchandising, or Planning with major athletic, footwear, sporting goods, or lifestyle retailers such as Foot Locker, JD Sports, DTLR, or Shoe Palace.
• Experience overseeing high-volume Men’s, Women’s, Unisex, and Kids product lines.
• Strong grasp of wholesale forecasting, assortment planning, and inventory management principles.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and establishing strategic customer relationships.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to navigate and prioritize brand and business requirements among internal stakeholders and senior customer decision-makers.
• Capability to talk and hear; frequent sitting, standing, and walking required.
• Physical ability to occasionally kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Proficient in close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
