KDB Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-line operational support for Barclays' Markets Technology division during US market hours

• Supervise the KDB+ environment in real-time

• Conduct data quality assurance checks

• Manage end-of-day job processes

• Analyze data across various asset classes including Equities, Credit, QIS, FX, Rates, Structured Products, and Prime

• Implement SRE practices to progressively enhance operational monitoring capabilities

• Work in conjunction with the Barclays KDB+ Core team

• Focus solely on operations; KDB+/Q development, platform architecture, standard library development, and custom reporting are explicitly excluded

⛳️ Requirements

• Inside IR35 contractor arrangement

• Availability to provide first-line operational support during US market hours

• Experience in KDB+ operational support, real-time monitoring, data quality assurance, end-of-day job management, and data analysis across the supported asset classes

• Capability to apply SRE practices

• Ability to work closely with the Barclays KDB+ Core team
