Junior/Mid-Level Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform manual functional, regression, usability, smoke, and exploratory testing on both web and mobile applications.

• Develop, maintain, and evaluate test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and user stories.

• Conduct testing on actual mobile devices, emulators, and simulators, considering various operating systems, brands, and screen resolutions.

• Clearly identify and report bugs in a systematic and reproducible manner, including evidence, reproduction steps, and severity levels.

• Monitor the complete bug lifecycle, from identification to retesting and validation of fixes.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Refinement, and Retrospectives.

• Work collaboratively with Developers and Product Managers to identify risks, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

• Enhance product quality from the initial conception of requirements to the release for end users.

• Test desktop and responsive web applications, as well as mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications (Android and iOS).

• Understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and usability testing methodologies.

• Practical knowledge of mobile interface standards, such as Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design.

• Familiarity with project and bug management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar platforms.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Capability to create and document test scenarios and test cases effectively.

• Strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for user experience.

• Access to a laptop.

• Access to an iOS device (iPhone) and an Android device, whether personally owned or provided as needed for the project.

• Preferred: experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia.

• Preferred: basic understanding of test automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Preferred: experience with logging and crash monitoring tools like Crashlytics or Sentry.
