This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee enterprise applications, a public-facing website, and database alerts during the overnight shift.
• Address incidents swiftly, inform stakeholders, and restore services within established timelines.
• Diagnose, patch, and maintain Windows-hosted applications during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Implement security patches and STIG configurations while assisting in the remediation of vulnerability scan results.
• Offer first-level support for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, escalating issues as necessary.
• Monitor incidents and outages in ServiceNow and assist in the creation of after-action reports.
• Record overnight processes and transfer open issues to the day team.
• Deliver overnight support for enterprise applications within a federal government IT program.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• A minimum T3 security clearance is required.
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline, or a current Microsoft certification is necessary.
• At least 2 years of experience in Windows Server and application administration or IT operations support.
• Familiarity with incident response, patching, and troubleshooting in a production setting is essential.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and basic SQL.
• Ability to adhere to a fixed overnight schedule (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM ET) is required.
• CompTIA Security+ CE (or an equivalent DoD 8140 baseline certification) is required upon hire.
• Microsoft Windows Server certification is necessary; it must be obtained within 6 months of hiring if not already held.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Tier 3 or Tier 5 background investigation and a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Completion of mandatory DoD security awareness training within 30 days of employment is required.
• Preferred: Experience in a DoD or federal IT environment (STIG, IAVM, ACAS).
• Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle Database, Apache/Tomcat, Splunk, or MOVEit.
• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow or another ITIL-based ticketing system.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, or AWS).
• Government-furnished equipment.
• Fully remote work from a U.S. location.
