Junior Test Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Utilize Python with testing as the primary focus

• Create, develop, and uphold exceptional test coverage across various products and features

• Engage in projects that span from innovative startups to well-known global brands

• Collaborate with clients from around the world

• Contribute to software engineering services, including nearshoring, staff augmentation, and digital transformation initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of professional experience as a Test Engineer or Software Engineer utilizing Python

• More than 1 year of experience with TDD or similar testing-first methodologies

• Proficient in test architecture, test design patterns, and developing scalable testing solutions

• Understanding and practical application of coding standards and best practices, such as SOLID principles and clean coding

• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or Cypress

• Experience in integration, end-to-end, and automated testing for web applications

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and/or Travis

• Programming capabilities in JavaScript

• Strong communication skills in English — at least B2 level proficiency
