Junior Test Engineer, Automation – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and execute automated testing procedures.

• Assist in diagnosing test failures and resolving issues related to automated tests.

• Conduct pre-defined performance tests, such as Load, Stress, Spike, and Soak/Endurance testing.

• Capture essential performance metrics which include latency, response times, throughput, error rates, and HTTP response codes.

• Observe fundamental performance metrics utilizing AWS CloudWatch.

• Analyze test outcomes to detect anomalies and primary performance issues.

• Communicate anomalies and basic performance concerns to intermediate and senior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Up to 1.5 years of experience in software testing or test automation.

• Familiarity with software testing principles and QA methodologies.

• Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Python or Scala.

• Basic comprehension of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, including headers, payloads, and API status codes.

• Capability to execute tests, analyze results, and identify issues or unexpected behaviors.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
