Junior Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients to establish KPIs, develop lifecycle roadmaps, and create impactful retention strategies.

• Work closely with a dedicated designer and a junior email marketer (strategy associate) who will assist with asset management and flow setup in Klaviyo.

• Utilize AI as a rapid brainstorming collaborator to craft engaging emails and SMS, while overseeing the internal copy approval process and giving the final approval on copy produced by yourself or other team members.

• Define and manage account scopes, assign hours to high-ROI projects, and monitor project timelines, timesheets, and budgets via ClickUp.

• Mentor and guide junior Strategy Associates, aiding in their workflow prioritization, execution accuracy, and professional development.

• Maintain the client relationship, effectively manage expectations, and deliver clear, data-driven performance reports.

• Ensure the quality of deliverables, transform major achievements into case studies, and assist in updating the agency's internal playbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or Certifications preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field with an emphasis on digital or eCommerce.

• 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce or lifecycle marketing, with responsibility for client strategy and performance (either in an agency or in-house).

• Strong proficiency in retention and lifecycle channels (email, SMS), including segmentation, testing, and optimization.

• Demonstrated ability to think commercially, prioritize tasks effectively, and convert data into actionable strategies.

• Experience in leading or mentoring team members and collaborating across functions (design and technical teams).

• Practical knowledge of essential tools such as Klaviyo (or comparable), Shopify (or equivalent), and subscription/retention platforms.
