This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
β’ Design, test, and maintain backend applications and services utilizing C# and .NET on the Microsoft Azure platform.
β’ Contribute to the development of scalable APIs, Azure Functions, and cloud-native services.
β’ Collaborate with existing codebases, troubleshoot problems, and implement improvements under the guidance of senior engineers.
β’ Engage in technical discussions, code reviews, and agile development methodologies.
β’ Construct and uphold integrations with databases, messaging systems, and various platform components.
β’ Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to comprehend requirements and deliver effective solutions.
β’ Assist with CI/CD pipelines, deployment tasks, and production monitoring efforts.
β’ Investigate and rectify application defects, performance challenges, and operational incidents.
β’ Adhere to best practices concerning code quality, testing, security, and documentation.
β’ Continuously enhance expertise in Azure cloud services and contemporary software engineering methodologies.
β’ 2-5 years of experience in professional software development.
β’ Proficiency in developing applications with C# and .NET (preferably .NET 6+).
β’ Familiarity with ASP.NET Core Web APIs and backend service development.
β’ Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, or Service Bus.
β’ Experience with relational databases and SQL.
β’ Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including source control and CI/CD principles.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a willingness to learn new technologies and domain knowledge.
β’ Ability to function effectively within a collaborative team environment.
β’ Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and deployment pipelines.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with Entity Framework Core and RESTful API design.
β’ Preferred: Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
β’ Preferred: Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
β’ Preferred: Experience in regulated industries like healthcare, life sciences, or financial services.
β’ Preferred: Interest in cloud-native development, distributed systems, and modern architectural patterns.
