This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain web application functionalities for both the frontend and backend, ensuring clean, well-documented code and adhering to design specifications for user interfaces.

• Engage in REST and GraphQL API integrations along with database management to facilitate application features.

• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues across both frontend and backend systems, and create unit and integration tests to ensure reliable releases.

• Adhere to security best practices and internal development standards, including git workflows, in all deliverables.

• Take part in code reviews and team stand-up meetings, while keeping your lead informed about task progress and any obstacles.

• Leverage AI technologies to improve and optimize business processes.

• Utilize and make the most of Power Digital's Nova ecosystem related to your department; perform other relevant tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Proficient in at least one modern web framework, with a strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript or a similar language relevant to the team's technology stack.

• Basic comprehension of REST/GraphQL APIs and relational databases.

• Familiar with Git and standard version control practices.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for daily tasks — including documentation, code comments, and interaction with global teams and clients.

• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback during code reviews, and seeking assistance when facing challenges.

• A strong desire to learn, accept guidance, and rapidly enhance technical abilities.

• Expected to work during Pacific Time zone hours.
