Junior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop functional prototypes of innovative concepts in collaboration with the engineering and product teams.

• Create and execute benchmarks to compare prototypes against competitor solutions, and clearly present the findings.

• Partner with the product team to gain insights into user operations, performance priorities, and pricing tolerance.

• Rapidly iterate by releasing prototypes, sharing insights, collecting feedback, determining what to retain, and progressing forward.

• Utilize AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate the prototyping process.

• Contribute to shaping the product roadmap through data and functional demonstrations.

• Work closely with the CTO, CPO, engineering team, and product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient hands-on software engineering capabilities with a proven history of delivering projects, including open-source contributions or personal initiatives.

• Strong full-stack engineering expertise, encompassing backend services and APIs to web front ends, demonstrated by a history of shipping projects like open-source work or side projects.

• A prototyping mindset: comfortable creating rough models to address questions and then refining successful elements.

• A competitive nature and eagerness to evaluate how your work measures up against other options.

• Familiarity with performance evaluation and benchmarking.

• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a distributed team.

• Experience with Go or another systems programming language on the backend, and React or TypeScript on the front end (preferred).

• Knowledge of real-time data systems, latency-sensitive applications, or high-performance workloads (preferred).

• Familiarity with blockchain networks, P2P networking, or trading and MEV workflows (preferred).

• Experience collaborating directly with product or business stakeholders (preferred).
