Junior SDET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain automated testing scripts for web applications.

• Work in conjunction with engineers from various teams and cross-functional project managers to design and implement integration tests for new features.

• Engage in the development, rollout, and upkeep of QA processes, tools, and related technologies.

• Assist in translating business requirements into technical specifications, and create system acceptance criteria and test plans with an emphasis on coverage, performance, and automation.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements, error patterns, and/or root causes, and propose potential solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer specializing in Python.

• Proficiency in JavaScript programming.

• At least 2 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or similar testing-first methodologies.

• Familiarity with test architecture, design patterns, and the creation of scalable testing solutions.

• Understanding and practical application of coding standards and best practices such as SOLID principles and clean coding.

• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or Cypress.

• Experience in working with integration, end-to-end, and automated testing for web applications.

• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery / CI tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and/or Travis.

• Strong English communication skills, with a minimum proficiency of B2 level.
