This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the creation and upkeep of integrated project schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
• Conduct weekly updates to the schedule, which includes actual start and finish dates, remaining durations, and overall progress.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Construction, Commissioning, and Project Management teams to gather schedule status and forecasts.
• Incorporate stakeholder schedules and commitments into the comprehensive project schedule.
• Maintain details on activities, durations, relationships, calendars, activity codes, milestones, and overall schedule information.
• Develop and sustain schedule logic that reflects the project execution plan.
• Provide support for short-term and intermediate look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor key milestones related to contractual, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, energization, commissioning, and client deliverables.
• Identify critical and near-critical activities that may affect project completion.
• Conduct quality checks on the schedule.
• Assist in the preparation of schedule reports, dashboards, milestone reports, progress updates, and narrative summaries.
• Evaluate schedule performance against baseline metrics and previous reporting periods.
• Document any changes to the schedule, along with assumptions, commitments, and stakeholder contributions.
• Participate in schedule review meetings and sessions for stakeholder coordination.
• Escalate any discrepancies in the schedule, missing information, potential delays, and conflicting commitments from stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of schedule documentation in line with company standards.
• Develop an understanding of the sequencing of EPC projects from design through to turnover.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in scheduling, project controls, construction, engineering, or related project roles.
• Experience with Primavera P6 is preferred but not mandatory.
• A basic understanding of project scheduling, construction sequencing, or Critical Path Method (CPM) principles is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with multiple project stakeholders.
