Junior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Monitor engine tasks across sprints and releases, ensuring that issues, milestones, and roadmaps are up to date.

• Facilitate or assist with stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across various time zones, primarily in an asynchronous manner.

• Collaborate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to ensure dependencies are identified early.

• Compose clear status updates, release notes, and summaries of meetings.

• Assist in triaging bug reports and user feedback, directing them to the appropriate engineers.

• Identify risks and obstacles early on and aid the team in resolving them.

• Maintain internal documentation and processes in an organized and accessible manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role (including internships and open-source contributions).

• Exceptional written English communication skills; capable of articulating technical progress clearly and succinctly.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and a strong ability to follow through.

• Comfortable collaborating with engineers and rapidly grasping technical concepts.

• Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools (e.g., GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, Linear).

• Self-motivated individual who excels in a fully remote, asynchronous-first environment.

• Preferred: Basic knowledge of networking or distributed systems concepts (P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, replication).

• Preferred: Understanding of software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes.

• Preferred: Some experience with JavaScript/Node.js or working alongside a development team.

• Preferred: Interest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software initiatives.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies or relevant certification (PSM, CAPM, etc.).

• Preferred: Experience collaborating across multiple time zones.
