This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Overall accountability for the implementation of software solutions tailored for financial accounting and related processes within public-sector administrations and churches.
• Ensuring that project goals are met with respect to quality, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Coordinating with stakeholders across all levels.
• Organizing and leading workshops, training sessions, and acceptance testing.
• Collaborating closely with customers, internal project teams, and external service providers.
• Maintaining project documentation and providing regular updates on project status.
• Managing requirements and performing risk assessments.
• Developing and executing suitable measures.
• Beginning as a Consultant with comprehensive onboarding and progressively preparing for project management responsibilities.
• A completed degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field, preferably with an emphasis on financial accounting.
• Initial experience in leading IT or software projects.
• Experience in municipal administration is advantageous.
• Familiarity with financial accounting and municipal budgeting processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of both traditional and agile project management methodologies; certifications such as PRINCE2 or Scrum Master are beneficial.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.
• A structured and solution-oriented work approach.
• Empathy in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, and Saarland.
• Proficient in business-fluent German.
