This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in program planning, which includes preparation for Planning Interval (PI) Planning, schedules, and updates to the roadmap.
• Sustain integrated schedules and monitor deliverables against the due dates of call orders.
• Gather program metrics and generate biweekly sprint reports as well as status updates using Jira.
• Maintain logs for risks, issues, and dependencies, and follow up with responsible parties on outstanding items.
• Aid in the analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness, which involves data collection and summarizing findings.
• Provide support for ongoing health data exchange reports and contribute to Congressional and Elizabeth Dole Act reporting.
• Oversee the program artifact repository and manage the artifact index.
• Organize and coordinate meetings, working sessions, and events; document notes, decisions, and action items.
• Monitor staff onboarding, required training, and access to systems.
• Engage in agile ceremonies and ensure that Jira data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Release Trains alongside interoperability specialists, terminologists, and VA Business Owners.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
• Background in supporting program planning, analysis, or evaluation for healthcare or similar programs is essential.
• Experience in tracking schedules, metrics, or risks and producing status reports is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is expected.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA background investigation at the level appropriate for the position is required.
• Candidates must reside and work in the United States with valid U.S. work authorization.
• Preferred: Degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Experience supporting the VA or another federal healthcare program.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.
• Preferred: Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
• Preferred: Experience in building dashboards in Power BI or Excel.
• Preferred: Experience on SAFe or Scrum teams.
