Junior Product Manager – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Focus on product management concerning card offerings.

• Design and implement experiments aimed at enhancing conversion, activation, and user engagement.

• Examine the complete card issuance, processing, and acquiring journey to pinpoint friction points and areas for enhancement.

• Lead discovery sessions with both internal and external clients, as well as ecosystem partners.

• Establish business rules for new card features and card machine (acquiring) integrations.

• Track performance metrics, including issuance rates, conversion ratios, drop-off statistics, delinquency rates, and associated costs.

• Investigate customer profiles of individuals who fail to activate or discontinue using the product.

• Collaborate closely with squads on the technical refinement of user stories and the validation of solutions.

• Work in conjunction with CRM, Growth, and CX teams to promote adoption and engagement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of financial products or payment processes, particularly cards and acquiring.

• Proficient data analysis capabilities, including funnels, product metrics, performance analytics, and user engagement.

• Experience with discovery methodologies, encompassing interviews, problem framing, and validation techniques.

• Strong skills in organization, prioritization, and communication.

• An analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to adapt and manage multiple scenarios effectively.

• Creativity in formulating hypotheses and solutions to boost conversion rates.

• Direct experience with payment systems, cards, and acquiring processes.

• Familiarity with payment integrations, including PSPs, gateways, fraud prevention systems, and digital wallets.

• Knowledge of billing and digital payments metrics.

• Experience with financial products or B2B billing solutions.
