Junior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and optimize user interactions with infotainment system functions and vehicle controls.

• Develop clear specifications for system features.

• Engage in design and alignment meetings with multidisciplinary teams.

• Present design proposals and user testing results.

• Collaborate in user tests to validate new design solutions.

• Assist in validating function logic alongside validation teams.

• Identify and resolve issues related to user interaction.

• Analyze benchmarks to compare competitive designs and suggest improvements.

• Document HMI issues related to system functions.

• Support the initiation and resolution of validation problems.

• Collaborate with the Performance Lead team during vehicle evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mandatory skills: Interface design (HMI), basic level (0-2 years of experience).

• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop or Adobe XD, basic level (0-2 years of experience).

• Understanding of requirements development processes, basic level (0-2 years of experience).

• Knowledge of electrical engineering systems, basic level (0-2 years of experience).

• Desirable skills: User-centered design (UCD) experience, intermediate level (2-5 years of experience).

• Proficiency in tools like Visio or Doors, intermediate level (2-5 years of experience).

• Familiarity with benchmarking methodologies for usability and ergonomics, intermediate level (2-5 years of experience).

• Experience in the vehicle design and development lifecycle, intermediate level (2-5 years of experience).
