Junior Poker Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the organization and launch of tournaments, satellites, cash games, and series.

• Aid in promotional initiatives, including missions, Splash, leaderboards, tickets, and CRM campaigns.

• Ensure back-office and in-client settings are maintained accurately and punctually.

• Conduct quality assurance, release validation, and post-deployment evaluations.

• Acquire knowledge and provide support for tournament configurations, including structures, payouts, guarantees, templates, and satellites.

• Address operational requests and investigate or escalate issues as necessary.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of PRM tools and processes, offering coverage across various operational areas.

• Assist with new poker features, formats, and promotional mechanics as they are implemented.

• Keep operational documentation precise and up-to-date with process changes.

• Utilize AI and other tools to enhance the speed, accuracy, and quality of operational tasks.

• Adapt to changing priorities and offer support where the team requires it most.

• Strong knowledge of online poker, including cash games and tournaments.

• Genuine passion for poker and an understanding of how an online poker room functions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy standards.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Clear and effective written communication skills.

• Proficient in using spreadsheets and willing to learn new software and internal systems.

• Comfortable utilizing AI and technology to learn, troubleshoot, and work efficiently.

• Open to feedback, with a capacity to learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively.

• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to take on increasing responsibilities as experience grows.

• Previous experience in online poker, gaming, technology, or another live operational setting is a plus.

• Familiarity with operational or back-office systems is desirable.

• Understanding of poker concepts such as rake, liquidity, satellites, tournament structures, and player segmentation is advantageous.

• Experience in supporting CRM, promotions, leaderboards, or reward systems is beneficial.

• Background in QA or testing digital products is a plus.

• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets are advantageous.

• Experience using AI tools as part of regular workflows is a bonus.

• Knowledge of cryptocurrency or crypto-based gaming platforms is a plus.
