This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +4 more countries.
β’ Manage daily GDPR operations.
β’ Prepare and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and Standard Contractual Clauses with international clients and vendors.
β’ Perform privacy assessments of vendors.
β’ Ensure that records of processing activities and privacy notices are up-to-date across a global landscape.
β’ Assist in maintaining compliance with the EU AI Act regulations.
β’ Address data subject requests effectively.
β’ Support the Operations Team in guiding clients through the legal frameworks relevant to the business.
β’ Monitor developments in GDPR, the EU AI Act, EDPB guidance, case law, and national regulations.
β’ Collaborate with Legal Counsel and specialized departments within WorkMotion.
β’ A law degree or an equivalent legal qualification.
β’ 1β2 years of practical experience in data protection, whether in-house, within a law firm, or at a consultancy.
β’ Solid understanding of the GDPR as it is applied in practice.
β’ A genuine interest in the regulation of AI.
β’ Excellent legal research capabilities.
β’ A structured, pragmatic, and self-motivated approach to work.
β’ Ability to independently manage topics in a fast-paced, remote working environment.
β’ Proficient in business English.
