This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Enhance campaigns via legal strategies, including judicial actions.

• Collaborate with relevant teams and engage in legal strategy meetings.

• Build and maintain relationships with law firms and legal professionals.

• Draft and file legal documents, appeals, complaints, and lawsuits under supervision.

• Evaluate potential legal actions and assist in strategizing their implementation.

• Keep track of legal case statuses and manage the HazteOír Legal Agenda.

• Monitor deadlines, updates, and necessary follow-up actions.

• Provide clear updates for campaigners and directors.

• Write and distribute institutional communications regarding legal cases and judicial updates.

• Liaise with external stakeholders on judicial issues.

• Investigate legal cases and conduct research tasks.

• Prepare witness statements and detailed legal reports for anti-corruption cases.

• Organize and file judicial notifications, legal briefs, and case records.

• Create summaries, indexes, and tracking tables for legal proceedings.

• Coordinate the preparation of institutional representatives for external legal communications.

• Review and synthesize extensive volumes of legal documents.

• Develop and maintain standardized Google Drive work templates.


⛳️ Requirements

• Located in Madrid, Spain.

• Native Spanish speaker.

• Possession of a law degree.

• Minimum B2-level proficiency in English.

• Non-native English speakers must obtain a Duolingo English Test score of at least 100.

• Strong grasp of HazteOír’s anti-corruption initiatives.

• Proficient in legal research, analysis, and document drafting.

• Ability to utilize AI to generate legal opinions and reports effectively.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.

• Professional demeanor, self-driven, and results-oriented, especially under tight deadlines.

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.

• A master’s degree, bar membership, experience in public-interest litigation or advocacy campaigns, knowledge of additional languages, and project management tools are considered assets, but not mandatory.

• Previous professional legal experience is not required.
