Junior FullStack Developer – NodeJS, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation of web applications utilizing Node.js and React while learning from seasoned developers.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Help in the development and maintenance of web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Take part in code reviews and help uphold team standards.

• Work collaboratively with team members to gather business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Detect and resolve bugs to ensure product quality and reduce technical debt.

• Commit to ongoing learning about databases, AWS services, architecture, and other relevant tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related areas (academic projects and strong portfolios are encouraged).

• Up to 2 years of experience in full-stack development, particularly within the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Practical or academic exposure to front-end development with React (required).

• Practical or academic experience in back-end development using Node.js (required).

• Basic understanding of relational (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

• Fundamental knowledge of creating and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Theoretical understanding or practical experience with TypeScript.

• Awareness of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

• Familiar with AWS, CI/CD (Circle CI), and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
