Junior FinOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Assist customers in navigating AWS billing and usage information, highlighting essential insights and trends.

• Analyze customers' cloud utilization to uncover opportunities for cost optimization.

• Utilize both internal and external resources to set budgets, monitor usage trends, and detect spending irregularities.

• Transform cloud usage statistics into practical recommendations and assess their effectiveness.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards.

• Aid in the onboarding process for new clients utilizing Automat-it's FinOps services.

• Complete the initial training phase, which includes obtaining AWS Practitioner certification, before progressively managing clients and intricate FinOps projects.

• Willingness to learn about AWS cloud structure and its services.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Outstanding organizational and task management skills.

• Comfortable using spreadsheets, reporting tools, and task management software.

• Skilled in analyzing data, identifying trends, and drawing actionable conclusions.

• Capable of converting reports into straightforward insights and actionable suggestions.

• Familiarity with AI-driven tools (like AWS Cost Anomaly Detection and AI functionalities in cost management systems) is a plus.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Big Data is advantageous.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (particularly AWS) and fundamental architectural principles is beneficial.
