This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bangladesh, +5 more countries.
• Assist in the daily coordination by overseeing the team calendar, managing internal data resources, and liaising with other teams.
• Organize occasional in-person events and carry out various ad hoc team organizational tasks.
• Conduct financial due diligence for both new and existing grantees, consultants, and service providers.
• Assess staff expense reimbursements to ensure they comply with the reimbursement policy.
• Engage with submitters and approvers to address any necessary corrections or clarifications.
• Aim to process reimbursements within 30 days of their submission.
• Supervise and provide insights regarding the Reimbursement Policy and any submission inquiries.
• Oversee the creation, activation, delivery coordination, and distribution of company cards.
• Optimize the requests for company cards.
• Collaborate with Finance officers on priorities and urgent matters.
• Serve as the primary contact for finance operational inquiries.
• Provide support to the global network and external stakeholders concerning expense submissions, policy guidelines, and process-related questions.
• Work in partnership across Finance and other departments to ensure cohesive financial operations.
• Assist the Payments and Accounting Lead with payment runs.
• Carry out other related tasks as agreed upon with the line manager.
• Proven experience within a finance team, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Background in expense processing and/or other accounts payable workflows along with policy compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Google suites, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and expense processing tools is advantageous.
• A logical, organized, and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Capacity to identify issues and investigate/escalate them in a timely and professional manner.
• Willingness to collaborate generously with colleagues in a high-trust global community.
• Flexible and adaptable skills suited for a fast-paced, diverse work environment utilizing phone/video conferencing, different time zones, Slack, email, etc.
